Alex Ryals
Vice President, Global Security Solutions
Alex Ryals serves as Vice President of Global Security Solutions for Tech Data. In
this role, he's responsible for
providing the strategic direction and driving security sales performance across
multiple routes to market and vendor
lines worldwide, while responding to industry, channel and market trends. This
includes aligning security strategies and
actions to deliver a competitive advantage within the security ecosystem, growing
Tech Data's brand recognition in
world-class security capabilities, and serving an MSP community through
strategically focused offerings, custom-made for
solutions providers.
Tracy Holtz serves as Vice President of Security Solutions in North America for Tech
Data. She joined the company in
December of 1996 and brings over 24 years of strategic channel knowledge to the
team. In this role, she is responsible
for accelerating the sales of security solutions through the Tech Data partner
ecosystem. By leveraging vendor sales,
training and enablement, custom solutions and delivery services, Tracy's team helps
partners build security practices
and recruits new vendors into the Tech Data family.
Chris DesRosiers has been serving as Director of Security Business Development for
Tech Data since February 2018. In
this role, he's responsible for growing the sales of security solutions through the
Tech Data partner ecosystem.
Chris' teams include a telemarketing sales prospecting team, a team of
security-agnostic solutions sales reps, a
security services sales reps team and security solution practice consultant team.
His goal is to ensure all these
teams work in tandem to help deliver the award-winning Tech Data Security Practice
Builder Partner Program to North
American VARs, MSPs and MSSPs.
Director, Security Enablement and Training, Americas
Brett L. Scott serves as the director of Security Enablement and Training, Americas
for Tech Data. In this role, he
is responsible for accelerating the security expertise of our partners and building
security solutions for the Tech
Data partner ecosystem to deliver to their customers. Scott's current project is the
Tech Data Cyber Range (TDCR). A
multi-million-dollar effort, the TDCR is part of Tech Data's next-generation
distributor strategy. Brett is the
co-founder of the National Cyber Warfare Foundation (NCWF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization leading the country
in teaching hands-on cybersecurity skills in a real-world environment. The primary
purpose of the NCWF and the Tech
Data Cyber Range is to develop real competence in cybersecurity. His career began
professionally in 1987 and he
remains hands-on, but he also has many years of experience leading technical teams.
During his career, he has worked
in many different industries and has a great deal of in-depth knowledge on
cybersecurity issues facing companies
today.
