Cyber Range

In 2019, Tech Data solidified its prominence in cybersecurity by launching the first-ever, distributor-hosted Cyber Range: an interactive space where users can learn how to anticipate, mitigate and respond to cyber threats. Tech Data Agency was tasked with creating all environmental installations to house and bring the cyber range to life.

Direction of the Industry

DOI, one of Tech Data’s signature annual events, offers our top customers and vendors the opportunity to meet and network with Tech Data’s executives in a sophisticated setting. For DOI 2019, we developed a theme highlighting the event’s upscale location and exclusivity.

HPE Common Unity – Manufacturing

When Hewlett-Packard Enterprises (HPE) wanted to create a digital experience that would communicate the human, feel-good side of technology, they turned to Tech Data Agency. We developed an interactive online experience that brings HPE’s suite of services and solutions to life across the manufacturing business vertical – from the assembly floor to the refinery.

IBM Illuminate

IBM sought to create an interactive, digital experience that would feel trustworthy, intelligent and familiar, while offering substantial business insights. We developed an online experience that showcased IBM’s suite of services and solutions across Analytics, Cloud, IoT and Security, all within the healthcare business vertical.

National Sales Meeting (NSM)

National Sales Meeting (NSM), Tech Data’s internal, annual four-day event, is dedicated to invigorating our sales team for the year ahead. Tech Data Agency’s assignment was to develop a thematic concept that would speak to the spirit of our sales teams with energy, authenticity and originality.

Partner Summit

Attracting enterprise-level partners across the technology distribution channel is the goal of Partner Summit, Tech Data’s premier partner conference. In 2019, Tech Data Agency was charged with creating a concept that would both entice targeted channel partners and deliver on Tech Data’s promise to drive consistent growth and cultivate new business opportunities.

Vendor Summit

Tech Data is renowned across the IT channel for our breadth and depth of expertise. For Vendor Summit – an annual, one-day event that spotlights Tech Data Agency’s market and strategy channel capabilities –we needed a theme that reflects how we enable our vendor partners to reach their maximum marketing potential.

Endpoint Symposium

With the challenge of working remotely, Tech Data Agency was tasked with creating our first- ever, 100% virtual conference. The one-day, online event offered attendees the same experience as an in-person event, but with the ability and flexibility to engage from anywhere. We featured keynote speakers, kick-off videos, vendor break-out sessions and a vendor expo, while also providing mid-day lunch breal entertainment and prizes.

  • A focal point of the Cyber Range: a custom designed vendor kiosk, developed to provide vendor sponsors in the security space the opportunity to display their logos, share videos and provide one-on-one demos.

  • Custom designed invite sent to an exclusive list of attendees, requesting their attendance. The dimensional mailer was curated and branded to house specialty items representative of the event destination: Cape Cod, Mass.

  • Event brochure designed to reflect the nautical theme of the event location. The printed brochure contained all details for reference throughout the event.

  • HPE Common Unity = community expresses HPE’s ability to put technology to work for the greater good. An interactive online experience featuring their manufacturing business vertical.

  • HPE Common Unity: Manufacturing takes visitors through two animated manufacturing landscapes – an assembly floor and a refinery – allowing them to explore HPE’s services and solutions.

  • From the ground up, Tech Data Agency set out to launch a complete online experience, where visitors in the B2B space can explore HPE’s prowess in the field of manufacturing.

  • Integrated, B2B e-marketing campaign, and robust content library of relevant industry insights.

  • Interactive web experience featuring views into stories and case studies specific to Analytics, Cloud, IoT and Security, within the healthcare business vertical.

  • Case study pages share content that outlines a business challenge, transformation and result.

  • Custom designed security infographic, detailing how to develop a Security Framework within the healthcare space.

  • Window clings greet employees at the Tech Data entrance as they prepare for a week of motivational activities.

  • Custom name badges and rally towels are part of the annual kick-off event, while custom neon signs and ballroom branding build on the excitement of the week at the finale gala.

  • The theme Unlearn Yesterday, Break Through Tomorrow was reflected within the event’s website, where attendees could locate event information and updates as needed.

  • Name badges and welcome brochures helped to identify and guide attendees as they experienced the three-day event.

  • Custom built environmental elements continued the theme of the event and helped to direct attendees to key areas within the event venue.

  • We integrated Turning Vision Into Value into the full range of the event, beginning with our email communications. Our event website detailed how attendees would gain new tools and insights to turn vision into value for their business.

  • The Turning Vision Into Value theme was showcased among multiple collateral material, which was distributed at registration. Name badges, pocket folders, agendas and one-sheeters.

  • As attendees experienced the event, they were immersed in the theme and logo, from lanyards and signage to take-home bags, view finders and Agency brochures.

  • Our environmental design and signage further supported the theme, while our kickoff video spoke to Tech Data’s prominence in the IT channel and ability to be an informed partner.

  • The entrance to the virtual event reflected an environment that made the user feel immersed within a space. A registration desk and directional signage served as navigation points for the user.

  • Upon entry to the General Session, users were greeted with a theater style auditorium, in which the main stage content was displayed.

  • Following the completion of the event, we deployed an email campaign. Several content streams were sent to targeted lists sharing key take-aways and access to content, as well as alerts on how to claim attendee prizes and awards.
